Keep also in mind that the plural forms of these words end in ‑i.

Ci sono molti problemi.
There are many problems.

Ho caldo!

Caution! Hot! The Italian word caldo means both hot and heat.

Voglio un panino caldo.
I want a hot sandwich.

L'agricoltura cresce grazie al caldo.
The agriculture grows thanks to the heat.

And there's more! Avere caldo means that you are hot.

Io ho caldo.
I am hot.
Literal: I have heat.

This isn't to be confused with fa caldo, which means it is hot when you're talking about the weather.

Fa caldo oggi.
It is hot today.
