¡Estamos aprendiendo a cocinar!
We’ve already seen that in English we’d say I want to study, but in Spanish you can simply say Yo quiero estudiar.
But certain verbs, such as aprender, ayudar, and empezar, require a before the infinitive.
Empiezo a trabajar el lunes.I am starting to work on Monday.
Siempre te ayudo a estudiar.I always help you to study.

Use para with an infinitive to talk about why you're doing something.
Tienes que salir pronto para ir a la biblioteca.
You need to go out soon in order to go to the library.
Necesitamos encontrar la llave para abrir la puerta.
We need to find the key to open the door.
Me gustaría vs. quiero
Me gustaría and quiero are both used to talk about something you want to do. Me gustaría is more polite!
Me gustaría salir a almorzar.I would like to go out for lunch.
However, quiero is more common in everyday interactions.
¡Quiero aprender a cocinar!I want to learn to cook!
